Allied Telesis Continues to Perform Poorly In Open Polls
Allied Telesis Yokota continues to show poor performance and poor pricing options according to our most recent polls. Oddly, we still have individuals who probably shouldn’t be voting shouting their support for Allied by marking that “They are awesome and the price is reasonable!”. Oddly, only Allied Telesis, AAFES or a known Allied Telesis business partner feel that the prices are reasonable and that the service is awesome.

It seems a tad dishonest when you look at this from a bigger picture. As you read this, AAFES is trying to convince Congress that they should control all internet at Army and Air Force installations. They are more than likely going to get out of the internet business entirely if Congress does not support them as they have been losing money hand over fist and have endured several very public humiliations from Korea, to Yokota, and more than likely Kadena in the very near future. Have you seen the new communications bundle Kadena is going to be offered? No free calls home anymore for them. Let’s hope congress decides that it is in the best interest of the Military communities to keep Telecommunications control out of AAFES hands and within the domain of those who know how to establish and maintain contracts.
