Price Surveys
Since AAFES is still holding out on the FOIA request for the quarterly pricing surveys, we decided to conduct our own in a rather unique way. In June 2006, Allied Telesis Inc. and another company announced that they would be combining their respective network solutions together to support the deployment of next generation networks for 10 independent operating companies (IOC’s). These IOC’s are located in various parts of America which provide us a very good representative cost sampling since they are dealing in relatively small populations, use the same materials, and are receiving the same services that were promised to us.

*Twin Valley supports a sparsely populated region similar to Yokota. Their internet speeds are consistent with spread out communities in the middle America where infrastructure upgrades are slow going. However, Fiber to the Home is starting to be installed as part of the Clay Center Expansion.
